With a primary focus4>Job Purpose To ensure quality of supplied product or service meets regulatory, contractual and customer requirements through effective containment, problem resolution, product approval and improvement activities with the supplier. Key Accountabilities Assures that purchased materials and components meet Rolls-Royce Marine Quality requirements Effectively manage non-conformance (concession) process ensuring effective problem resolution. Lead rapid problem solving methodology and corrective action implementation with suppliers Manage the Quality/Technical activities taking place between Rolls-Royce Marine sites and suppliers on new programs launches Assist sourcing team in new supplier assessment and ion Conduct Quality System and Process Audits at suppliers Analyse data and information on allocated suppliers performance and identify improvement opportunities. Conduct improvement projects to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of a process by applying the appropriate DMAIC / Quality improvement tools. Train and coach suppliers to improve aspects of their business performance e.g. SABRe compliance. Represent Supplier Development & Quality Manager to attend Shanghai site operational meeting Organize Supplier Development & Quality Department document/report in sharefold in proper way Verify supplier compliance via suitable audit and process assessments (when within personal authorisation) Key Experiences and any Qualifications Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing enterprise and at least 3 years in supplier quality management or quailty control department. Familiar with ISO 9000 or others international standard Supplier quality system audit and process audit skills Systematic process improvement skills like 6 sigma Problem solving skills like 8D report or 7 step problem resolution New product or material approval process Work under pressure Communication skills Team work player Bachelor degreee in Engineering Good written and verbal English
