With a primary focus4>Job Purpose Undertake the application engineering for steering gear contracts. Key Accountabilities Produce steering gear drawings and documents for approval for customers and classifications, manufacturing, working drawings and manuals complies with contract and specification. Optimize the product based on contract, classification requirement and cost. Monitor & act on generic quality and non-conformity issues, and participate in improvement programs Interact with class, yards, owners, CM, OU, supply chain etc., effecting the competitiveness of the product family Public relation-product information/marketing internal/external Key Experiences and any Qualification Requirements Degree preferably in marine Education or mechanical engineering Communication skills Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000, particularly Excel and Word, Auto CAD, UG, Inter and email
