As a leading global container transportation company, APL offers a comprehensive work you can truly rely4>Position: Customer Service Representative--Guangzhou I. Position Summary This position is to work jointly with sales, to serve as vital link between APL and its customers in order to deliver fast, efficient, cost-efficient solutions for achieving 100% customer satisfaction. II. Primary Accountabilities This position is accountable to meet commitments made to customer in the following areas: -Booking -Rate Inquiries -Service Inquiries -Customer Satisfaction offering special services -Problem Solving -Account maintenance -Take initiative to share the experience and knowledge with team members -Proactively utilize DPM to analyze and improve processes -Identify and determine resolution of customer problems -Maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor and communication -Monitor ACD calls and facilitate telephone improvement opportunities -Provide technical training & coaching to Customer Service new team member -Take initiative to and streamline the work process in order to improve work efficiency and cost savings III. MINIMUM Requirements -Bachelor degree; CET 6 (College English Test) or TEM 4 ,8(Test for English Major) preferred; -3 years or above experience in shipping, transportation or foreign trade industry; - Basic experience and background of product knowledge (BKG/inbound/Documentation processes, Equipment; tariffs; routing work; e-Products); - Basic APL systems ( CCMS, CMO/CMI, Service Reporting, CP, trucking System, RFR system) ; - Good PC workstation skills (Word for Windows, Excel); - Fluent Mandarin & good command of English (written and oral) and Cantonese preferred; - Able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks; - Meticulous in completing tasks with minimal margin for error; - Excellent dependability record; - Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships; - Demonstrated experience in identifying and meeting valid customer requirements; - Demonstrated experience in process management; - Demonstrated team experience.
