Tasks
The Sales Steering – Area North and Central, China is responsible to:
? Create budgets
? Manage area allocations as received trade Management
? Manage customer priorities and allocations
? Monitor and measure customer performances
Budgeting
? Create budget (- adjustment) for respective trade lanes in line area strategy
? Provide trend volume forecast on monthly basis
? Provide weekly volume forecast
Reporting
? Generate daily booking reports
? Generate no show reports
? Generate contribution level reports for analysis and vessel optimization
? Generate named account and top account performance reports
? Review and analyze negative contribution level reports
? Review and analyze internal control reports
Area-/ Customer Allocation Management
? Manage area allocations as provided by trade Management
? Handle waiting list and evaluate acceptance basis given criteria
? Co-ordinate shutout/ nomination list when required
? Evaluate vessel utilization for optimization
? Consolidate and review input sales on Customer Priorities (FOB and CIF customers)
? Monitor customer allocation utilization
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
? Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a plus
? Minimum 2 years experiences in the sales and marketing field
? Effective communicator, fluent in English and Mandarin, both verbal and written
? Ability to work independently
? Positive and pleasant attitude, a team-player
